Snyder Flower Farm began selling flowers in 2022. Lynne and Jeff Smith began growing lavender in 2020. Their daughter, Jacki, son-in-law, Matt, and grandsons Daniel and Reece began helping with the progress shortly after, to create a family operation. By the spring of 2022, Lynne & Jacki decided to tap their love of all flowers and change the name to Snyder Flower Farm.
The farm was once owned by Lynne's great grandparents, Charles and Carrie Snyder. Eventually, Lynne's parents, Dennis and Gladys Snyder purchased it and raised beef cattle. In late 2020, Lynne and Jeff purchased the farm from Lynne's siblings in hopes of keeping the farm productive.
Snyder Flower Farm sells several types of fresh and dried cut flowers, fresh and dried lavender and eucalyptus (when in season), lavender and eucalyptus sachets, and small pumpkins and gourds in the autumn months. They offer dried flower arrangements, dried sachets, and seasonal crafts during the winter months. Their products can be found in both the Town Square Collectibles and The Bushel Basket stores on Main Street in McConnelsville and at various farmer's markets, such as The Duncan Falls Farmer's Market on Sundays, May through October. They also sell at the Zanesville Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings.
